The Cross-Plex™ lamp by Danish architect Bodil Kjær saw the light of day in 1961. This extraordinary lamp – in the shape of a cross and made of plexiglass, hence the name – consists only of the bare necessities. Cross-Plex is thus a pure reflection of the characteristic, clean, straight lines of the architect and designer in all her creations. Seen in profile, the table lamp almost looks like a miniature building, with the opal shade acting as an illuminated roof.
